Meals and Technology/Learning Needs Information

MEALS ANNOUNCEMENT
To help ease the burden for our students and families in light of our current situation, the Drexel School District will be offering a meal plan to our students. The meal plan will be grab and go style and will include a lunch for the current day, as well as breakfast items for the following morning. Meals will be prepped and ready for pick-up between 10am and 2pm. If you would be interested in receiving this service, please email meals@drexelbobcats.net with each student’s name that would like to receive a meal. Once you have emailed us and we have your name on the list, we will continue to prepare meals for your family each day unless you inform us that you no longer need to receive them. Meals may be picked up by pulling through the circle drive of the school, where your meals will be brought to your vehicle from the North entrance of the building. In difficult circumstances, the district may be able to deliver these carryout lunches on a special request basis. Those requests should also be sent to the email address listed above. The District will start serving these meals on Monday, March 23rd.
TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCEMENT
In an attempt to make sure that our staff and administrators can maintain communication with their students and deliver curriculum and learning opportunities to them, we need to know if students do not have access to a device in which they could be provided with online learning opportunities. This includes students who left their Chromebooks and/or chargers here at school and do not have another device at home to use. In addition, we need to know if your student would need to be provided internet services in order to access an online platform for learning. If your student has a device and has internet capabilities, you do not need to contact us, however, if your student does not have access to either of these things, please email tech@drexelbobcats.net and let us know what your student’s needs are, so that we may develop a plan to serve their educational needs.
