Scholarship Information

Hello Students and Parents/Guardians!

Scholarships will be made available to Seniors in a variety of ways. Scholarships will be posted to our Google Classroom and on this page, each student will also receive a hard copy of the Scholarship Packet posted below. Please contact me with any questions or if you need additional assistance. 

Please note the following procedures as you select those for which you wish to apply.

  • - Be sure you meet all qualifications of eligibility before securing an application.
  • - Submit all necessary materials at the same time. 
  • - Mr. Stackhouse is not responsible for locating or requesting letters of recommendation, that is the responsibility of the student.
  • - You must submit a separate application for each scholarship.
  • - Please be sure to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as early as possible (Opens October 1st).

K-State Wabash Cannonball Scholarship -- $2500

Horatio Alger Scholarship -- Up to $25000

Wichita State University Scholarship Competitions -- Up to $64,000

FIDM National Scholarship Competition -- $31,000

Think Rice National Scholarship Award -- up to $4000

College JumpStart Scholarship -- $1000

International Bipolar Foundation -- $1000

Patrick Dwyer Scholarship -- $1000

American Legion Oratorical Scholarship -- up to $18,000

National Wild Turkey Federation -- $300

American Welding Society -- varies by scholarship

Robert J. Stuckey Essay Contest -- up to $1500

October Online Scholarships (studentscholarships.org) -- varies by scholarship

Cass County Elk's Lodge (all students, regardless of county, can apply) -- $500 to $2000 local, up to $50000 nationally

John T. Belcher Scholarship -- $1000

Ed Stegner Natural Resource Scholarship -- $1000

Show-Me Chapter Scholarship -- $2000

Honors GradU Scholarship -- $10,000

Prayer Soup Scholarship -- $1500

Project 21 Scholarship -- up to $2500

AXA Achievement Scholarship -- up to $25000

November Online Scholarships (studentscholarships.org) -- varies by scholarship

Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarship -- $5,000 + $5,000 to charity of choice

National WW2 Museum Essay Contest -- $1000

NRA Civil Rights Defense Writing Contest -- $1000

National FFA Scholarships -- Awards Vary

Cass Community Health Foundation Scholarships -- $750 to $2500

December Scholarships -- Awards Vary

Centriq Training Technology Scholarship -- $5000

Westlake Scholarship Program -- Awards Vary

Dr. Darrell "Jack" Holley MUSIC Scholarship -- $2,000

MSPE WC Engineering Scholarship -- $1,500

Quail Forever Scholarship -- $1,000

Automobile Dealers of Greater Kansas City (Must make an account) -- $2,000

Hawthorn Bank Scholarship -- $1,000

MARE Rural Missouri High School Scholarship -- $500

HOPE Manufacturing Scholarship -- $1,000 to full ride scholarships available

Esther Gilbreath Scholarship (senior girls) -- $300

Disabled American Veterans Scholarship -- $500

The Grand Lodge Scholarship -- Varies (Recurring Scholarship up to 4 years)

Grand River Lodge Scholarship -- $550

Missouri Bankers' Foundation -- $1,000

Cass County Farm Bureau Scholarship -- $500

Missouri Farm Bureau Charlie Kruse Scholarship -- $1,000

Missouri Farm Bureau Vocational Scholarship -- $500

FCS Financial Scholarship -- $1,000

Bates County Farm Bureau -- $250

Peculiar Charitable Foundation -- $2,000 per year

West-Central Missouri Association of School Administrators -- $750 (Must be majoring in education)

Alma Brown Scholarship (Nursing) -- $1,000

Wanda Brown Scholarship (Nursing) -- $1,000

Jan Perry Scholarship (Nursing) -- $2,000

Law and Justice Scholarship -- $750

Missouri Retired Teachers Association Scholarship -- $300
