February
This February, students learned about the term "Honesty." Throughout the month, students learned about the importance of being honest to those around us, as well as making sure we are being honest with our own thoughts and abilities. Younger students got to learn about the "Honest to Goodness Truth," and how sometimes the truth can be used in harmful ways, while older students completed an activity to see how difficult it could be to cover up a lie. While many students were able to showcase their Honesty, Austin Cummins, Elizabeth Boyer, Cheyenne Pruitt, and Carson Bravo were chosen by their teachers and staff as the Character Kids of the Month.
Our word of the month for March is Self-Control. Teachers and staff will be on the lookout for our next Character Kids of the Month.
