Summer Strength & Conditioning/ Summer Athletic Calendar Changes

Sumer Strength & Conditioning will begin on June 1 at 8 AM. There will be three session that your son or daughter can sign up for. Strength & Conditioning will be held outside and observe the guidelines and recommendations set by the state to maintain social distancing. Athletes will meet in the stands by the football field prior to their workout. Please read the following items listed below:

Strength & Conditioning

Please Read
1. Attendance is not required.
2. As you arrive, you will complete a “COVID Health Questionnaire”.
3. If you or a family member have been sick or is feeling sick, stay home.
4. If you or a family member have a temperature, stay at home.
5. Remember to wash your hands for 20 seconds.
6. Please help maintain social distancing protocols.
7. Weight equipment will be sanitized in between the use of individuals.
7. Strength and Conditioning will be held outdoors (on the track facilities), weather permitting.
8. You must bring your own water bottle. You will not be allowed to use the water fountain.
9. We can only bring in 18 athletes at a time (9 athletes per 1 coach = 10 people x 2 groups).
10. We will run two 18 athlete sessions, one at 8-9 am and one at 9-10 am (*If need be, we will open up a third session.
11. Per Session, one group (9 kids) will do conditioning drills (20-30 mins) while the other group is doing weight lifting, then we will switch group.
12. We will continue to update these procedures as Health Officials, DESE, and MSHSAA make recommendations.
13. These sessions are designed for ALL ATHLETES.
14. We will have Weights on Mon, Tue, Thur, and Fri
