2020 – 2021 School Year Calendar Amended
During its’ November 16th, 2020 Board of Education Meeting, the Drexel R-IV Board of Education approved the following changes to the school calendar:
- Friday, November 20th school will dismiss early at 2:00 PM
- No School on Monday, November 23rd and Tuesday, November 24th – this will extend the Thanksgiving Break the entire week.
- Monday, December 7th will be a make-up day. This will be a virtual learning day. The day will be used as a day to practice our virtual learning plan, in case we have to move to virtual learning in the future. More details will follow and teachers will be communicating with students and parents about this virtual learning day.
Additionally, the annual Senior Citizen’s Thanksgiving Meal is now scheduled for Thursday, November 19th. Meals will be delivered to those who have called in and placed an order.
