State Track Meet Results
The Drexel Track team had a great showing this weekend at the MSHSAA Class 1 & 2 Track Meet. Sierra Knowler placed 4th in the Discus and was an inch from breaking the school record. Maycie Mayfield placed 3rd in the Pole Vault with a vault of 8'6'. The boys 4x400 Meter Relay went into finals with the fastest time in the state of 3:32.13, which was also a school record. The relay team placed 3rd with a great photo finish between two other teams. Aaron Woods placed 1st in the 110 Hurdles and broke his own record and school record with a time of 14.95. He then went on to grab another gold medal, winning the 300 Hurdles and again breaking his own record and school record with a time of 39.36. The Boys team finished 8th overall. Congratulations to all that went and participated at the State Track Meet!
