Michael Land is coding a Python program in Sandbox. The coding class is through Edhesive and available through a grant by Amazon Future Engineers.
Logan Cochran has been using Cura and Thingaverse to get proficient with the 3D printer. Preparing the item through the software for the printer is key and Logan has it mastered. He's now working on creating flex prints that are movable such as the castle that has a working drawbridge. He is also learning how to print using supports for larger, multi-level prints, and lithophane prints. Lithophane prints are pictures printed with different thicknesses of the plastic so that when backlit the objects in the photo show.
