Senior FAFSA Night

October 02, 2020

Senior FAFSA Night, October 28 at 6pm (North Commons area).

Every student that is considering college as an option after high school is required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA offers grants (money that doesn't need to be paid back) and federal loans (money that will need to be paid back) to students that are eligible financially. This year, we will be hosting a FAFSA night for all Seniors and their parents to attend and receive assistance in completing the FAFSA. This includes a step-by-step breakdown of the FAFSA, assistance in completing the Federal Student Aid ID portion, and answering any questions the parents may have as we work together to complete the FAFSA.

If interested in the FAFSA night, please sign up in the Google sheet below. Please bring the following materials to the meeting:

-- 2019 Tax Returns for student (if applicable) and parent(s) (Both sets/married filing if together, Primary Parent's if separated).
-- Social Security Numbers of student and parent(s)
-- Records of untaxed income (just an idea of what you receive, we don't need any official documentation)
-- Current financial status (checking/savings accounts) (Once again, don't need any official documentation, just an idea of what is in each).
-- A personal email for both student and parent. You MUST have access to this email (don't use a junk/spam email).
-- A list of which colleges your student is interested in attending (up to 10).

We look forward to seeing you all! If you cannot make this meeting, but still need assistance, please contact Mr. Stackhouse at jstackhouse@drexelbobcats.net to schedule an individual time!
